Bio (Sarah Cunningham)
Sarah Cunningham is legal counsel with BC's Ministry of Attorney General. In this role, she advises ministry clients on a range of corporate and commercial matters, including procurement of goods and services, corporate structures and the purchase and sale of businesses and large assets.
Prior to joining the Ministry of Attorney General, Cunningham worked at a leading business law firm in Victoria, and prior to that, one of Canada's leading business law firms in Vancouver. In these roles, her practice focused on corporate and commercial transactions, corporate structuring, the purchase and sale of businesses, financing of early-stage companies, securities compliance and general corporate matters. She has experience in equity financings for private companies as well as prospectus offerings in the public market. Cunningham has worked with clients in a variety of industries including technology, biotechnology, finance and transportation.
Cunningham was admitted to the British Columbia bar in 2011 and holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria (2010) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Royal Roads University (2006).
