Bio (Glenn Hanna)
Dr. Glenn Hanna’s research interests are in the areas of organizational leadership, and organizational behavior, with a focus on justice and post secondary sectors. He regularly presents his research and is published both in Canada and internationally. Hanna is also the Assistant Program Head, Justice Studies, at the University of Guelph-Humber in Toronto, and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Guelph.
Prior to his work in academia, Hanna had a successful career of over three decades with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. His policing experience ranged from general uniformed duties, isolated postings in Canada's arctic, undercover work, organized crime and national security investigations and increasingly senior command positions. Glenn is the recipient of several Canadian and American awards for his work with youth, for community policing efforts, for transnational organized crime investigations, and for “Outstanding contributions to Canada.”
Hanna holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts (Justice Studies) from the University of Guelph (2008), a Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University (2010) and a PhD in Education from Nipissing University (2016).
