Summary

Eric Anderson has more than 25 years' management experience in a variety of functions, including IT, operations, marketing and business development. He advises entrepreneurs, principals and senior management in the areas of aligning IT to their business strategy; transformation and business process improvement; developing management capacity; strategy; and intellectual property and commercialization. He also works closely with operations and supervisory personnel responsible for implementing change.

Eric has broad international experience - he has lived in the Middle East, and worked with clients in Eastern Europe, the United Kingdom and Kenya.

Experience

Eric is able to draw on an extensive background gained in previous management roles in industries such as container shipping and port operations, supply chain management, software, IT systems development, change management and performance improvement. Clients have ranged in sectors from shipping and logistics, public administration, insurance, conference management, IT development, health systems, mobile technologies, forest products and small-to-medium sized enterprises.

Courses taught

Eric teaches EXMN661 Management Consulting Best Practices, which is designed to provide students with a more complete understanding of the range of consulting issues, skills and realities of running a practice that have an impact on the profession of management consulting. The course has a focus on project management, stakeholder analysis and the client/consultant relationship.
