Dr. Debora Linehan’s area of expertise is Intercultural Leadership. Her research is focused on cultural integration in the workplace and explores biculturalism and ethnic identity. The research also reveals the cultural interactions, power imbalances, and organizational gaps that lead to exclusion in the workplace. As a scholar practitioner, her goal is to advance the study and application of intercultural leadership competencies within organizations and to promote diversity in leadership.

Experience

Linehan’s career has been primarily in leadership roles within the financial industry. Most recently, she held the position of Regional Vice-President with RBC and was also an executive champion on RBC’s National Diversity Counsel. She has actively served in many organizations as a volunteer and as a board member.

Linehand is a Certified Administrator: Global Competencies Index and Intercultural Effectiveness Scales (Kozai Group). She is a Certified Management Consultant and holds several other industry-related certifications. Importantly, Linehan is a life-long learner.
