Bio (David Stevenson)
David Stevenson has more than 25 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, where he specializes in operations management, supply chain and logistics and learning and development. He has extensive experience in the implementation of lean systems and feels fortunate to have been involved with learning and development initiatives throughout most of his career. In his spare time, Stevenson enjoys downhill skiing, kayaking, cycling and travelling with his wife and children. He also enjoys photography and woodworking.
Stevenson joined Royal Roads University in 2011 as an instructional designer working in the Centre for Teaching and Educational Technology, as a dedicated resource for the MBA and MGM programs. He has many years of experience as a full-time instructor, problem solving coach and change management lead in corporate settings and as a teaching assistant in educational environments.
Stevenson holds a BA and a MBA at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. He also completed a Master of Science degree in manufacturing operations with a specialization in lean manufacturing from Kettering University in Michigan. He also holds a Bachelor of Education degree in Adult Education from Brock University.
