Ann Reeves

Associate faculty

Ann Reeves holds the position of Human Resources Manager at Inn at Laurel Point, where she has been overseeing many aspects of Human Resources Management, with special focus on recruitment, since 2008.  While working full-time, she also enjoys teaching and sharing her proven tourism, hospitality and human resources knowledge with Royal Roads students since 2013.  Reeves delights in contributing to the industry through teaching, conducting mock interviews and being a member of the Program Advisory Committee at Camosun's School of Hospitality Management.  Born and raised in Quebec City, she has also lived in the Caribbean and Toronto. 

 

Experience

Reeves has diverse experience in the tourism and hospitality industry having worked as Sales Manager at Hotel Grand Pacific, Banquet Manager at Inn at Laurel Point, and Assistant to the Ontario Minister of Tourism.  She has also gained valuable front-line experience as a tourist information guide in Quebec City, guest services agent at CN Tower, and a reservations agent and front desk agent at Toronto’s Skydome Hotel.

Reeves has received additional training in performance management, performance appraisals, and WorkSafe BC claim management.
