Performance Measurement and Financial Management for Leaders - Lead 565
This course focuses on the role of non-financial leaders in organizational performance measurement and financial management. Learners analyze, interpret, and apply knowledge of the distinctive characteristics of the non-profit and public sector organization. The course also covers making effective and efficient use of resources and ways to increase public accountability and public confidence. Learners survey a variety of techniques including the Balanced Scorecard, Logic Models, Performance Indicators, Developing Proposals, Program Audit and Evaluation.
This course is delivered entirely online.
Prerequisite for LEAD565: The student has not previously completed LT565.

Those who successfully complete LEAD565 may receive financial and academic credit toward the MA in Leadership or MA in Leadership with specialization in Health program as assessed by the Dean, Faculty of Social and Applied Sciences.
