Conflict Analysis and Management Program 20th Anniversary panel discussion
The Conflict Analysis and Management Program is celebrating its 20th anniversary with the panel discussion: Practicing reconciliation: What skills do individuals need to practice reconciliation in the Canadian or international context?
The event will be held in the Learning and Innovation Centre, Centre for Dialogue April 20 from 11 a.m. to noon and is open to the public.
Panelists include CAM grads Patti Derbyshire, Gareth Stuart, Harley Eagle and Jasmine Paul. Derbyshire completed her Master of Arts in Conflict Analysis and Management in 2007 and is an associate professor and chair of Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Social Innovation at Mount Royal University. Stuart completed the program in 2007 and has more than 12 years of Canadian and international experience working with Indigenous Peoples in the areas of relationship building, conflict management, economic development and negotiations. Eagle works with Island Health as a Cultural Safety Facilitator. He has 20 years of experience designing and facilitating workshops and activities that strive to recall and re-claim Indigenous understanding of life.
