CESA Rector Henry Sicard and RRU President Philip Steenkamp sign the agreement.

Royal Roads University and Colombian business school Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administración (CESA) in Bogota have signed an agreement that will see the exchange of students, faculty, knowledge and research. The agreement is Royal Roads’ first with a fellow Ashoka U campus and will focus on entrepreneurship, sustainability, and corporate and social innovation.

CESA Rector Henry Sicard and Royal Roads University President and Vice-Chancellor Philip Steenkamp signed the agreement during an international education conference in Bogota.

“As fellow Ashoka change-maker campuses, we understand the serious and complex challenges facing us around the globe,” says Steenkamp. “Going beyond our campuses and engaging internationally as strong partners is key to leading on sustainable development that can unlock critical interventions for the climate, education, justice and inclusion.”

The agreement includes a simultaneous student exchange between summer schools, faculty tours and speaking engagements, and opportunities for joint research and collaborative academic programming.
