Homer-Dixon on maintaining hope

The director of the Cascade Institute at Royal Roads University, Dr. Thomas Homer-Dixon, joined host Adam Stirling on CFAX 1070 to discuss his latest book and appearance as the opening speaker for the Changemakers Speakers Series.

Here is an excerpt from the interview:

“It’s a challenge I take personally, I stared the book twice and threw it out because it wasn’t working, and I realized the thing that had to be at the heart was the issue of hope.  I have relatively young children and I was thinking what was the worst thing that could happen when they grow up -- and the worst case was the possibility they could lose hope.”
