Hodson on keeping connected this holiday

School of Interdisciplinary Studies Assoc. Prof. Jaigris Hodson joined CFAX 1070’s Adam Stirling to discuss Zoom fatigue, and what we can do about it this holiday season.

Here is an excerpt:

“One of the problems with Zoom is we’ve decided to use it for everything during this pandemic. Think about how you can divide up different platforms to have different meanings for you. I like to visit friends using video games because then you get an avatar … other people might find they’re going to connect with family on Facebook and connect with friends using another means like text messaging or using slack or creating a YouTube playlist. I think by thinking more about how you can divide and conquer, you’ll be less likely to experience Zoom fatigue.”
