High risk of forest fire on campus

Warm weather and dry conditions have increased the risk of fire on campus. The BC Wildfire Service has elevated the risk of forest fire on campus to “high”.

Please use caution and only smoke in designated areas, taking the time to completely extinguish cigarettes before disposing of them. Cigarettes should never be thrown on the ground on campus.

Sparks or any form of flame are always prohibited in campus forested areas.
