School of Humanitarian Studies Prof. Ken Christie was interviewed by Adam Stirling on CFAX 1070 on the Nov. 4 Vienna terror attack that killed four people and injured 24 others.

Christie discussed the revelations that the accused was released from prison early in Austria after authorities decided he was no longer a "radical" threat to society, calling into question how governments evaluate the idea and practice of de-radicalization.

“People have to be a lot tighter on what they mean by de-radicalization and how you’re actually going to test if people have these extremist tendencies and aren’t going to act on them anymore,” Christie said.
