Christie on the storming of the US Capitol

Human Security and Peacebuilding professor Dr. Kenneth Christie spoke to CFAX 1070’s Adam Stirling about the storming of the US Capitol Wednesday.

“The United States is supposed to be a shining beacon of democracy, the mansion on the hill, a hope for the rest of the world… this showed exactly the opposite. It’s a disaster for democracy, it’s a disaster for the United States. The United States has no right to go around telling other countries how to behave anymore because it really showed yesterday it can’t control its own house, literally.”
