What a year! When I think about 2020, the lines from the Grateful Dead’s “Truckin’” come to mind: “Lately it occurs to me, what a long, strange trip it’s been.”
While it certainly wasn’t the joyful, exuberant 25th anniversary celebration that we’d planned, we still achieved remarkable things under very challenging circumstances – a quality in the very DNA of Royal Roads. I talk more about this and our impressive achievements in my video message .
In many ways, I think this crisis has brought us closer together and taught us some important things about ourselves and each other. It certainly will inform our thinking and actions in the years to come.
I want to close with my thanks to all of you. We could not have made it through this long, strange year without your caring, courage and creativity.
