RRU first Canadian university to partner with Chandigarh

Royal Roads is the first Canadian university to sign a partnership agreement with Indian post secondary institution Chandigarh University.

Royal Roads University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Chandigarh University, Punjab, India. A private institution established in 2012, CU collaborates with universities in the US, UK, Australia and Switzerland. Royal Roads is the first Canadian university to establish an academic partnership with CU.

The MOU will enable students who attain a certain grade level after studying for two years in Chandigarh University to transfer to RRU for the third year of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program in Victoria.

“Royal Roads University is pleased and excited to be Chandigarh University’s first Canadian partner and look forward to transferring students to our undergraduate programs in Victoria,” said Cyndi McLeod, Vice President, Global Advancement, Marketing and Business Development at Royal Roads University. McLeod noted Royal Roads has seen 67 per cent growth in international enrolments and says this agreement will continue to reinforce the university’s growth strategy.

Chandigarh University offers a variety of programs including business and engineering.
