Saudi Arabia launches air attacks in Yemen
Saudi Arabia launched airstrikes Thursday in Yemen, heading a coalition of Arab nations in an effort to dislodge Houthi rebels sweeping through that country.
School of Humanitarian Studies Prof. Kenneth Christie discusses the implications of this startling turn of events with C-FAX host Terry Moore.
"I think we've got an extremely unstable situation," says Christie. "The air campaign by Saudi Arabia against Yemen is going to increase all the reasonable tensions. It's also going to worry the west very much because the threat of attacks emanating from Yemen is going to become a lot more problematic. So Yemen will become unstable in that sense."
