MAIIC student film features activists against Islamophobia

Master of Arts in International and Intercultural Communications student Meghan Miller Cronkrite was interviewed for the Westman Journal about her documentary “Keep Moving Forward – Resisting Islamophobia and Building Solidarity Through Cyberactivism.” In this film, Miller Cronkrite features two activists who use social media and film to resist Islamophobia.

Here is an excerpt:

“It can be challenging to break down the barriers and stereotypes but we need to create a welcoming community for everyone,” Miller Cronkrite said. “I’m hoping this film will have an impact and that we can create positive change.”
