School of Humanitarian Studies Prof. Kenneth Christie was interviewed by Terry Moore on CFAX about the events in Charlottesville and the latest rhetoric from the United States and North Korea.

Here is an excerpt:

“The problem is this: if you ramp up the rhetoric so much and you keep on going on about it there’s a possibility that we blunder into war, we make a mistake, someone makes a mistake, someone pulls a trigger somewhere and once you’ve done that you can’t come back,” says Christie. “There’s been no real de-escalation of the rhetoric from either side, from Trump or for Kim Jong Un, so what you have is a situation that is very dangerous.”
