Celebrating 805 new graduates at Spring 2018 Convocation!

Royal Roads University will honour 805 graduates at Spring 2018 Convocation ceremonies June 12 at the Royal Theatre in downtown Victoria.

The university’s 43rd convocation will confer on graduates degrees, certificates or diplomas in the Faculty of Management, the Faculty of Social and Applied Sciences and the College of Interdisciplinary Studies. The graduates join a community of 26,400 alumni of Royal Roads University worldwide.

Royal Roads will also honour three exemplary Canadians: acclaimed broadcast journalist Anna Maria Tremonti, founding gerontology researcher Dr. Neena Chappell and social entrepreneur Barjinder (Barj) Dhahan. Learn more about the honorees and their achievements below.

The ceremony at 9:30 a.m. honours students graduating from programs in the Faculty of Management. The ceremony will include the conferral of an honorary degree on Dr. Neena Chappell, CM and the presentation of the Chancellor’s Community Recognition Award to Barj Dhahan.

The ceremony at 2 p.m. honours students graduating from programs in the College of Interdisciplinary Studies and the Faculty of Social and Applied Sciences. The ceremony will include the conferral of an honorary degree on Anna Maria Tremonti. 

Both morning and afternoon ceremonies will be available to view live on livestream.
