    Kenneth Christie joined Royal Roads University in 2009 after seven years working at the University of Zayed in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

    Professor Christie is widely published as an editor and writer with more than eight books to his credit. His most recent book, America's War on Terrorism: the Revival of the Nation State versus Universal Human Rights, was published in 2008.

    He has been a research fellow at Oxford University in the United Kingdom, University of Stellenbosch in South Africa and Institute of Southeast Asian Studies in Singapore. He has taught in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, the United States during an academic career spanning more than two decades.
