Jo Axe joined Royal Roads University’s Faculty of Management in 2000 and became a core faculty member in 2002. While teaching accounting in the Bachelor of Commerce and MBA programs she completed a PhD in distance education at the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom.

She has taught accounting at Camosun College and worked for several companies in accounting and general management. Axe spent four years in public practice, working on corporate and personal tax assignments.
