Audrey Dallimore joined Royal Roads University’s core faculty in 2007 and teaches earth sciences and environmental sustainability to master’s and undergraduate learners. Dallimore is also a research associate with the Geological Survey of Canada at the Institute of Ocean Sciences in Sidney, B.C.
Dallimore began her career as a reservoir geologist in the oil and gas sector. After completing her graduate work and raising two children, she joined the Geological Survey of Canada as a post-doctoral fellow and researcher specializing in marine geology and climate change of Arctic and coastal areas.
Dallimore spends her summers on research ships in the Pacific Northwest of North America and is involved in securing ongoing funding for important research in this region. She has lectured on the links of this research to understanding the impact of global warming in national and international contexts.
