To be continually learning is to be always evolving. I like to think that I have something to offer to the world, and for that to be true, I need to be informed.
I wanted a program that connected my passions: people and the natural environment – something that focused on business and sustainability but would also work well for me personally. That’s when I found Royal Roads University's Bachelor of Business Administration in Business and Sustainability program. I didn’t know what to expect when I moved here from Brazil. What I got was greater than anything I could’ve imagined.
From the beginning, my writing and speaking skills improved immensely. I loved how much critical thinking every course demanded. I had the best experiences with my instructors and stay in contact with many of them. Everyone had a story or life lesson to share and something inspiring to say. Plus, the campus is amazing! Every student at Royal Roads knows how fortunate they are to be surrounded by such spectacular nature.
At Royal Roads, I truly learned how to be a global citizen making differences locally. Maybe we won’t all have a huge impact in the world, but what matters is that little by little we can move entire communities."
