I appreciated the diversity of cultures and backgrounds represented in my cohort, and it was an extraordinary experience to share my own culture as well.

As a graduate of the MA in Learning and Technology program, I can say that my experience exceeded my expectations. When I was researching graduate programs, I was drawn to Royal Roads because they offered a program that aligned with my passion for technology and education.

The program content and learning environment were both outstanding. The coursework challenged me to think critically and to back up my ideas with evidence. As a result, I have developed and enhanced my research skills which have aided in my current role as a College Director.

One of the highlights of my program was the on-campus residency. It was a unique opportunity to meet and collaborate with my classmates, whom I had previously only interacted with online. I appreciated the diversity of cultures and backgrounds that were represented in my cohort, and it was an extraordinary experience to share my own culture coming from the small island of St. Vincent & the Grenadines.

My advice if you are considering applying to Royal Roads University is to keep an open mind and be prepared to learn in new and different ways. Also, take the Academic Writing and Critical Thinking course on APA writing before starting your program - it will save you a lot of headaches down the road. Overall, I highly recommend Royal Roads to anyone looking to further their education and expand their career opportunities.
