Royal Roads University offers a BA in International Hotel Management on campus program as an intensive 12-month experience.
With practical ‘hands on’ approaches to learning, including opportunities to master the virtual work environment – an invaluable skill in today’s international hospitality operations.
This intensive, accelerated twelve-month program includes classroom instruction, industry expert presentations, workshops, case studies, research presentations, field trips and web-based learning. Students complete two years of university study in 12 months and the workload is significant - 10-12 hour days are the norm. The final component of the program is a 12-week International Hospitality Internship related to the hospitality or tourism industry.
While each course at Royal Roads University has an online component whereby students can submit assignments, find readings, and join class discussions, all instruction for the BA in International Hotel Management courses is delivered on-campus in a face-to-face setting.
