Whitehorse Information Session and Learning Symposium
At Royal Roads University, we know everyone has something to share and there’s huge value in open discussions. Our online and on-campus programs create an environment where everyone works together to achieve success.
At RRU, you learn from everyone in your program – not just your instructors.
Take this opportunity to connect with staff, students and alumni. Find out how our blended learning model—online with short on-campus residencies— enables you to get an education without having to put your life on hold.
This general information session covers a broad range of topics – please join us, and bring your questions with you. We’d like to show you how Royal Roads University is Life.Changing.
Following a brief overview of Royal Roads will be a dynamic presentation by Dr. Wanda Krause, Assistant Professor from the School of Leadership.
Why Evaluating Well-Being, Capacities and Culture is Key for Ensuring Organizational Success
Program evaluation methods look at the effectiveness of a change structure and determine whether the desired effect was achieved. When evaluating programs, organizations often rely on performance-based measurements to understand whether the change created was effective and sustainable; however, they often forget to consider the individuals involved and their well-being.
In this workshop, Royal Roads University’s Dr. Wanda Krause will explore how organizations can move beyond skill measurement to include organizational culture and capacity development as a component to their program evaluations. Greater attention to well-being and transforming organizational culture are key to organizational success.
