Application Requirements

  • Online Application.
  • Application Fee: the application fee is payable online by credit card during application process or by cheque within 30 days. The application fee is non-refundable. For details on the application fee amount visit the Ancillary Fees page.
  • Resume:  A detailed resume is simply one that provides the Admissions Office with as much detail about you as possible. We are interested in knowing where you have worked, for how long, and what you were responsible for in the positions held. Provide as much information as possible, with special attention to the past ten years of your career. We would also like to see any professional development courses, volunteer positions, or international experience that you may have acquired.
  • Personal Statement: The personal statement should be approximately one page in length, and should outline your motivation for seeking entrance to the program.
  • Reference Letters: To be considered valid, reference letters must be program specific, dated less than six months old, signed by the author, and include at least one contact number. The writer should confirm that you are a suitable candidate for the program, explain why s/he believes you will succeed in such a program, and describe how the program will benefit you. The context in which the referee has come to know you should also be mentioned. To avoid processing delays, we recommend letters be addressed to Admissions, Royal Roads University rather than individual staff or faculty.

If submitted electronically, the letter(s) must be sent from the author’s personal or business e-mail address.

RRU reserves the right to confirm any and all information received in support of an application.
