Program Description

The Graduate Certificate in Hospitality Management is a nine-credit, three course graduate program that is completed in six months. Applications are accepted and reviewed year round, and as space is limited, applicants are advised to apply early.

This program provides a solid foundation and holistic view of international hotel management, hospitality finance and corporate strategy. Focused on the accommodations sector of the industry, this program prepares students to advance as entrepreneurs, senior managers and executive administrators within the industry. Case studies, comparative analysis, and critical reviews form a key component of the program. Learning is current, relevant and prepares students to respond, make decisions, and lead change management processes in the dynamic and ever changing worldwide context in which hotels, resorts and cruise lines operate.

The aim of this Graduate Certificate is to ensure that professionals within the accommodations sector have the opportunity to obtain a graduate certificate; one that ladders into a Masters’ degree should they decide to pursue further graduate studies.
