T. Hugh McCaw Memorial Bursary

The T. Hugh McCaw Memorial Bursary was initiated by Mr. Thomas Hugh McCaw's daughter and son-in-law, Isabel and Tony Lloyd, and grand-daughters Patricia Kimmett Huxley and Anne Hill Kimmitt. The primary purpose of this bursary is to provide assistance to a Indigenous or Metis student(s) enrolled in the School of Humanitarian Studies who demonstrates financial need. Should no eligible candidate apply, Indigenous or Metis students and other students interested in First Nations studies in other RRU programs will be considered. Preference will be given to School of Humanitarian Studies students.

  • preference given to Indigenous or Metis students enrolled in a School of Humanitarian Studies program

How to Apply

  • this In-Course Award is open to students who are (or will be) active in their program on the deadline date
  • pending the availability of funding, the competition will run annually from September 1st to November 1st (closes 11:59pm PST)
  • applications are submitted online through MyAdmin. A full list of awards in competition will be viewable upon login
  • address eligibility criteria for all awards in that competition in one one-page essay with your name in top margin
