Royal Roads University Founders' Award

Value: Plaque
Type:
Convocation

The Founders' Award is a plaque presented to one student in each graduating cohort of a degree program, in recognition of having exemplified the qualities of leadership, sustainability and personal development. It was established by the four "founding fathers" of Royal Roads University, who were tasked with creating this special-purpose University. This award signifies that recognition of the development of personal qualities is as award-worthy as academic excellence (see Chancellor's Award).

The candidate is selected either through peer nomination or faculty nomination, at the discretion of the Program Head.
