Governor General's Gold Medal
This highly prestigious award recognizes one student at each of Canada's public Universities each year for having presented the most outstanding dissertation, thesis, or graduate research project. This is the highest honour a graduate student can achieve at Royal Roads University and is presented on stage at the November convocation ceremony.
All masters or doctoral students who are eligible to graduate at the upcoming November ceremony, or those who graduated since the last time the award was presented, are eligible candidates. Students who receive a School nomination will be listed as runners-up in the convocation programme, featured in the next Roads to Research publication, and may be profiled on the research wall located on the 3rd floor of the Learning and Innovation Centre and on the RRU website.
The recipient and runners-up will be contacted approximately six weeks before November convocation.
