Government Student Loans
Students in the following 12-month programs are eligible to apply for full-time Government Student Loan assistance:
- BCom in Entrepreneurial Management
- BSc in Environmental Science
- BA in Professional Communication
- BA in International Hotel Management
- Master of Global Management
To avoid a late fee penalty please submit the Tuition and Fees Deferral Form to University Life before a qualifying instalment of tuition is due.
BC residents apply through StudentAid BC
- Apply for the 2010/2011 application year if your program starts before July 31, 2011.
- Apply for the 2011/2012 application year if your program starts after Aug 1, 2011.
Interest-Free Status
Qualified students who hold outstanding provincial and federal student loans through StudentAid B.C. can apply for Interest/payment Free Status. There is also the Repayment Assistance Plan offered by the National Student Loan Office, which is based on the income and financial circumstances of the applicant - oppose to the student's school status.
Residents of Other Provinces
Apply online through your province of residence.
Part-time Student Loans
Students enrolled in programs not listed above may qualify for a loan of up to $10,000 through the part-time Canada Student Loan program.
