FAQs

  1. What is the pre-entry workbook?
The workbook consists of biology, chemistry, math and english assignments as well as a test module. It is designed for two purposes. Primarily it is useful for students, as it allows them to readily determine those subject areas in which they need to brush up on prior to coming to Royal Roads University. It is also designed to help ensure that all students have the same basic skill set needed in the core subject areas.

Once an applicant is accepted into the program, they are given the link to the pre-entry workbook and their log-in password. They are asked to work through the book diligently making sure they understand ALL the subject areas and that the tests are completed prior to arriving on campus.

  2. What qualities in a person/student are best suited to this program?
Those people best suited to this program are students who are keen to do something about current industry and government actions regarding the environment, who want to become leaders in changing people's actions toward the environment, and who have, or want to have, the ability to understand the full breadth of environmental issues, including their social and economic implications.
  3. How many students are admitted to the BSc annually?
