Doran to McGill’s FOM

Daniel Doran has been appointed to the role of associate director for the Administrative Excellence Centre in the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University.

Doran will be responsible for the administrative and business affairs of the Goodman Cancer Research Centre, the Genome Innovation Centre and the Department of Human Genetics, and will help guide operational, fiscal, academic and research activities. Doran began working at McGill University in 2011.

A long-time officer in the Canadian Armed Forces and Army Reserves, Doran has served on NATO and UN missions. He has also taken on civilian roles in engineering, project management and urban planning for the town of Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue.

Doran holds a Masters of Business Administration from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University (2016), a Masters of Arts in Human Security and Peacebuilding (2008) from Royal Roads University and a Bachelors of Civil Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada (2002).
