PCOM530: Strategic Digital Communication
Provides practical and strategic knowledge of current trends in digital communication and the continued impact of those trends on social interaction. Explores how to harness digital communication for stakeholder engagement (media, investor, public, government) and other organizational purposes. Includes the implications of social media for communication management and interactions with stakeholders, and an overview of the processes, policies, and methodologies to effectively use social media. Includes case studies or discussions on various types of stakeholder engagement, including crowd sourcing, collaboration and open media, as well as issue and reputation management.
