Course Description

Offers an introduction and overview of the issues and opportunities in today’s international tourism industry – an examination of the broader tourism landscape in which hotel management is only one sector. Reviews and assesses the management issues and challenges in delivery systems and operations s in today’s international tourism industry. Evaluates the organization, complexity and scope of the global travel and tourism industry; examines the roles of the world, nation, regional and other tourism organizations and associations; and assesses trends and emerging issues.
