Provides a critical understanding of what organizations are, how they work, and how, through communication practices, to contribute to sustaining or changing the organizations in our lives. Considers the communication issues of purposeful organizations. Grounds an understanding of organizations in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Emphasizes the culture and strategy of leadership and governance. Introduces foundations of public relations and relationships with organizations' stakeholders. *pending approval
