COMM392: Communication Planning and Stakeholder Engagement

Course Description

Focusing on understanding audiences for communication, this course introduces students to principles and practices of psychographics, demographics, numeracy, communication vehicles, media biases and stakeholder contexts. Situates professional-communication practices in the organizational contexts of the public, private and non-profit sectors. Equips students to evaluate an organization’s communication needs and devise a strategic communication plan to help reach organizational goals within their contextual constraints. *pending approval
