Transforming Destinations

Course Description:

TRMN 503: Social, economic, infrastructure, stakeholder and political aspects of a community and region are investigated relative to the interest in creating sustainable tourism destination. The role and importance of consensus building processes, theming and visioning, community capacity and land use planning, and destination marketing organization (DMO) development will be reviewed as integral elements for success. (3 credits)
