Tourism Leadership

Course Description:

TRMN 501: Participants examine the challenges and opportunities that individuals and organizations face in one of the world's leading industries - tourism. With a goal of creating a culture of innovation, frameworks are examined to help individuals explore assumptions and beliefs about leadership, understand personal accountabilities and the dynamics of leading change in complex environments.  Various approaches and models of leadership are assessed and current research and best practices for leadership in the tourism industry are explored.  (3 credits)
