Systems Thinking for Environmental Management

Course Description:

ENVR 661*:Designed to explore the manner, implications and consequence of engaging in systems thinking for environmental management. Two themes will be explored: the biological foundations of cognition, language and culture that determine our possibility for managingwhat concerns us; and approaches and methodologies designed for realizing these possibilities, in particular, at the multiple scales and cross-system circumstances that have become relevant to environmental managers.
