Sustainable Tourism Management

Course Description:

TRMN 506: Identifies and evaluates best practices in context, processes, skills, and resources used in sustainable tourism. Policy, planning, regulations and implementation from government, business and community perspectives are analyzed. Dynamic issues such as global climate change, green tourism planning, environmental impacts of tourism, sustainability goals, performance measurement, capacity building, and funding will be examined and debated through case studies.    (3 credits)
