Learning Theory

Course Description:

LRNT 501: Examines current beliefs about how people learn, from behaviourism through to cognitivism and on to constructivism. Explores theories of intelligence and motivation, as well as the concepts of learning styles and transformational learning. Concludes by investigating how learning theory can be used to influence practice and the implications for technology-mediated learning  (3 credits)
