Environmental Ecology

Course Description:

ENSC 406: Anthropogenic stress on natural ecosystems is increasing at an alarming rate. The Royal Roads campus is used to look at long-term monitoring strategies and management. The laboratory component of this course explores the use of various assessment, analysis and synthesis techniques; in addition to illustrating some of the concepts and principles explored in the lectures. Students gain hands-on experience with scientific tools and techniques fundamental to the study of environmental ecology. (3 credits)
