Environment of Management

Course Description:

BUSA 531: Focuses on the practical problems that shape the macro-environments of business, from both theoretical and applied perspectives.  The class will discuss the ways in which organizations deal with the impact of globalization, the shifting landscape in national power and the demands of diverse stakeholders.  The course examines how organizations exercise their economic and political powers to shape their macro environments, nationally and internationally, in order to achieve strategic goals. (3 credits)
