Applied and Environmental Microbiology and Biochemistry

Course Description:

ENSC 317: Examines the role of the microbial world, and the impact that microbial biochemistry may have on the environment, both alone and in combination with human activity. Through readings, seminars, laboratories, and lectures, the students gain an appreciation of the complexity, diversity, and versatility of the microscopic members of the environment. (3 credits)
