The Alumni Awards committee deternimes the winners based on the selection criteria. Awards recipients are notified by email, phone and official invitation. All nominees are promptly notified of the outcome. Nomination packages remain on file at Royal Roads for two years. If a nominee is not selected in the year they are nominated, they will be considered the following year.
The awards committee consists of representatives from the university, the alumni community, the business community and the media.
The Alumni Awards committee reserves the right to name individuals for this honour and reserves the right not to present an award, should a suitable candidate not be found in any year.
