Northwest Community College
Objective of the Agreement:
Royal Roads University (RRU) agrees to facilitate the block transfer of students from Northwest Community College (NWCC) with appropriate prerequisite qualifications into RRU programs within the School of Environment and Sustainability noted below. By this agreement, applicants from NWCC who meet the requirements outlined below will be eligible for admission to RRU's Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science program or the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management program with full block transfer, provided all other entrance criteria are met (per the program admission requirements on the website) and space remains available in the RRU program. Entrance to all programs at RRU is on a competitive basis.
Successful completion of the:
- Associate of Science - Environmental Geosciences Specialization Diploma - must include 6 credits in Biology (BIOL 101/102 preferred), 6 credits in Chemistry, 6 credits in Math (Calculus or Physics), and 6 credits in English/Communications
- Applied Coastal Ecology Diploma (ACE) - must include two electives (6 credits) in Chemistry (CHEM 101/102 preferred) and one elective course in Math (Statistics not accepted)
- Associate Degree in Science - must include 6 credits in Biology (BIOL 101/102 preferred), 6 credits in Chemistry and 6 credits in Math (Calculus or Physics)
