Keith Webster

Keith has been an educator for morethan 30 years in a variety of institutions and roles. He has supported accessibility needs both analog and digital for a wide range of learners. 

As an instructional designer and educational technologist at the University of Victoria, Keith ensured course websites and learning management system content adhered to web accessibility guidelines. He was an early proponent of web-based technologies that preserved accessibility at a time when proprietary technologies were offering convenience at the expense of learners with different abilities. 

As an Open Learning faculty member at Thompson Rivers University, Keith has taught accessibility principles and practices in educational media design and development for over a decade.

In Keith’s role as associate director of learning technologies at Royal Roads he has maintained a high priority for accessibility in our current learning management system, and in media platforms like Kaltura and Zoom.
